Leila's Journey:

As an only child, raised by her mother and grandmother, Leila Johnson has an old soul. Being raised in a Christian household always made her curious about faith and digging deeper for the true meaning of human life. She spent much of her teenage and young adult years exploring different religions and refining her spiritual outlook on life.

Unfortunately, as a young child Leila thought that self-improvement meant that there was something wrong with her that she had to change. Since then she's learned that it's more about accepting all facets of her Personality and communicating with her Spirit to learn how to make changes.

After taking a leave of absence from graduate school in 2000, Leila began writing her book now titled Driving to Success: Let Your Spirit Take the Wheel. It was published as an e-book on May 20, 2010 and as a paperback on October 21, 2010.

As an adult, Leila tapped into her spirituality to place her professional life on the fast track. She progressed from college graduate to employee to business owner in 5 years. In 2003, she and her husband quit their jobs, moved, and founded a business (VelaMira, Inc. dba Data-Scribe®) where they provide a variety of Web site and communications services. In 2007, they founded a nonprofit association (Couples in Business Network (formerly National Copreneur Society)) for entrepreneurial couples.

Leila has shared her Spirit Driving message with Sage Ways, International Virtual Women's Chamber of Commerce, church congregations, and many individuals around the world.

She considers herself a lifelong learner and has studied self-improvement and spiritual concepts for almost 20 years. Leila has taken courses through the International Coach Academy (ICA) and holds a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysical Science.
